Yvonne Crew is Principal of Avalon Consultancy. She is an NDIS Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner and Graduate of the  international Institute of Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA - California).

Yvonne specialises in Functional Behaviour Analysis, Interim and Comprehensive Positive Behaviour Support Plan design, and training to support organisations who support clients with challenging behaviours or behaviours of concern.

Yvonne is Post Graduate, Masters degreed and registered in Education and Special Education, and Early Childhood and delivers courses in positive behaviour support in Qld Universities to Education and Health faculties.

She has worked effectively with people, behaviour issues, education and disability for 25+ years and brings a warm, empathic and instinctive understanding to all situations, with relationship building being the keystone of her work.

Her professional workshops equip participants proficiently in both designing and implementing support plans. Yvonne trains staff at all Private and Government agency levels to meet Education and NDIS support requirements.

Yvonne has presented at the Invitational IABA International Conferences in Manchester, Chicago and New Orleans. Her papers and research focus on effectively meeting the needs of behaviour and ASD through the development of positive relationships with the participant and family along with clear reporting.
